In the installation So Many Different Beings Nesting in the Borderlands, Ernest Borowski proposes landscapes of entanglement dripping with queer sensibility and turned to assemblages of strange relationalities produced in hypertextual feedback loops between irrepressible objects of desire. Suspended in time and pushed beyond the margins of the fetish of systematization, the porous bodies play with their identities, simultaneously being and not being what they appear to be on the outside. Giving them historical continuity or occupying their bodies with a modernist narrative of eternal growth and productivity comes to naught. The myth of independence and singularity of taxonomic entities has never nested here. The roots of the pleasure of coexistence, the fun of interdependent creation, are too strong to be eradicated by monocultural horror.

Elvia Wilk in her essay Death By Landscape writes:

The ecosystem body differs from the public or social body in that it is connected - in ways both recognizable and mysterious - to microbes, mosquitoes, whales, ice shelves, landfills and average annual rainfall, and, of course, to human political and social formations.

The artist explores the topic of more-than-human organisms that inhabit our bodies and the potential of speculative fiction to reconstruct relationships with the world. Through this, we can wonder, how can we think from the perspective of ecosystem bodies? How can we exchange this experience? How can we build relationships within ecosystems of connections?
